Sober Living at Naples Recovery

Why Sober Living?

Walking alone, as someone newly sober, is terrifying. From issues like the seemingly simple process of maintaining sobriety to the more complex issues of finding work, and navigating through legal and/or family challenges, those newly sober need comprehensive support. Bridging the gap from undergoing medical interventions, to learning to live as a wholly independent and healthy human being, is sober living at Naples Recovery.

What makes Naples Recovery effective?

At Naples Recovery  we are dedicated to learning a way of living that halts the pathology associated with addiction. Naples Recovery empowers our members with a critical understanding of the necessary and adaptive nature of healthy behaviors, thus assisting members change by constructing new, healthy ways to express and experience their feelings, while meeting their needs. Members at Naples Recovery experience a place to learn and explore who they are, while developing a new way to see themselves in the world. The Naples Recovery experience allows them to write a new story when it is based on a unique and purposeful place for themselves in their lives, reuniting with their families, and becoming a vital and engaged part of their communities.

Life is supposed to be fun and enjoyable

One of the things that makes Naples Recovery unique is our approach towards accepting that life is fun and that meaningful relationships are experiences we are all supposed to have and enjoy.

The Naples Recovery sober living and recovery residence program provides a fresh start.  Going straight from a treatment center to the same environment where one was using and drinking is a recipe for disaster.  It means that you your loved one will be more likely to hang out with the same old crowd and slip into the same old bad habits.

In our experience, minimizing exposure to former environments, people and situations while learning recovery tools and practicing how to use them offers the greatest opportunity for a life in long-term recovery. Spending time in a sober living and recovery residence program allows members to build new friendships, develop accountability and create happy sober experiences, all of which they can draw upon for strength for the rest of their lives.

Your values matter.

What you value, will shape your approach to becoming the person you were meant to be. We call on your personal values and the 12-Step Program as a guide to work with you on your own path of recovery and sobriety. And if you stray from your charted course, we reference those same values to help you course correct. Putting you back on the right path.
